Official WKO Member Licence Card:
For Martial Artists, Competitors, Coaches, Judges & Referees
A WKO Member Licence provides 12 months' membership of the World Kickboxing Organisation (WKO) from the date of issue.
Eligible WKO members may benefit from insurance protection provided under the WKO Group Insurance Policy, subject at all times to the terms, conditions, limits, eligibility requirements and exclusions of that policy.
WKO does not sell insurance and is not acting as an insurance broker or insurance intermediary.
The insurance is arranged for the benefit of eligible WKO members as part of WKO membership.
Your WKO Membership:
Your WKO Member Licence allows you to participate in activities for which your membership is valid, subject to the rules and requirements of the relevant event, organiser and governing or sanctioning body.
WKO issues a Member Licence Card rather than a licence book.
Following successful purchase, you will receive an email confirming your WKO membership and licence. This confirmation, together with your membership details, may be presented to an event organiser as evidence of your current WKO membership and eligibility under the WKO group insurance arrangements, subject to the policy terms.
A physical membership card is also be issued for identification and membership verification purposes.
A membership card or confirmation email does not itself constitute an insurance policy or guarantee that any particular claim will be accepted.
When WKO Membership and Insurance Apply

- Coaches being appropriately competent, qualified and insured where required.
- Competitors complying with the rules applicable to their bout or division.
- Opponents holding any licences, memberships or insurance required by the relevant rules or organiser.
- Appropriate medical provision being available for the activity and rules being contested.
MMA and Cage Fighting are NOT covered under the WKO Group Insurance Policy unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing under the applicable policy.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Please read this section carefully before purchasing your WKO membership.
A WKO membership is activated once payment has been taken and the application has been accepted and processed.
Where you ask WKO to begin providing membership services during any statutory cancellation period, you are expressly requesting that those services begin immediately.
Nothing in these terms removes or restricts any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law.
Where a statutory right to cancel applies, WKO will deal with the cancellation in accordance with applicable consumer legislation. If you have expressly requested that membership services begin during the cancellation period and subsequently exercise a valid statutory right to cancel, WKO may be entitled to charge an appropriate amount for services already supplied, where permitted by law.
Where membership has been fully performed during the statutory cancellation period, any statutory cancellation right may be lost where the legal requirements for doing so have been satisfied, including obtaining any consent and acknowledgement required by law.
Outside any applicable statutory cancellation rights, WKO membership fees are non-refundable once membership has been activated, except where WKO agrees otherwise or where a refund is required by law.
Purchasing membership does not guarantee entry into any particular competition, acceptance of a bout, successful matching with an opponent, or payment of an insurance claim. By purchasing WKO membership, you confirm that you have read and accepted these membership terms and, where applicable, have requested that your membership services commence immediately.
